Thought I would share a little sneak peek of my favorite images so far from John and Jackie’s wedding at the Nixon Library. Of course all three of these were shot with film.

Part of the fun of being a part of A Soolip Wedding is the fun guests have at the photo booth I set up at the event. I love how everyone gets in the spirit and then I get to go home and create a fun slideshow out of all the images.
You can check out the slideshow on Vimeo here
or if you prefer you can check it out on YouTube here.
I have to admit this was one of the funnest slideshows I put together this year. Erica and Chris had the most amazing photo booth at their wedding and their guests just loved posing for it. You certainly can’t beat the backdrop.
This slideshow is also on YouTube and you can view it there by clicking here.
Erica and Chris’ wedding had so many beautiful details that the images deserved a separate blog entry.
Town & Country Event Rentals has a new line called the In the Vineyard and the couple rented the line’s ladder back bar with shelves and also used their Della Luna line of china and their Fleur de Lys glassware.
The flowers were designed by Lily Pad Floral and Erica and her sister Martine incorporated their late father’s ties into their bouquets.

I met bride Erica through event coordinator Lisa Caren May of Pur Luxe Couture Event Planning. Lisa and I met at the A Soolip Wedding last year and we hit it off right away.
Erica and Chris got married at the Malibu La Costa Beach Club. This private club is rarely used for large weddings and I was thrilled to be able to shoot Erica and Chris’ wedding there. It is hard in Los Angeles to have a wedding with an unobstructed view of the ocean (especially in Malibu). The Beach Club was established in 1946 and is a private club used by residents in it’s vicinity.
Erica and Lisa transformed this club into an incredible, visually stunning wedding location. Erica used many of her own pieces and also rented items from Archive Vintage Rentals and Town & Country Event Rentals. There were so many beautiful details I’m going to write a separate blog entry about them.
Music is a huge love for both of them and they had a very specific play list for their wedding reception and I have to say it’s the best wedding play list I have ever heard. It was a natural choice for me to ask Chris to choose the music for their wedding slideshow and he did just that.

Ashley purchased a lot of items for her wedding day from Etsy and all of them so beautiful and thoughtful. Ashley gave all of her bridesmaids beautiful clutches from Etsy shop Oatmeal Lace Design with their names stitched inside the clutches and Jon gave all of this groomsmen cuff links with the bus tokens from their home towns (made by Etsy shop Subway Cufflinks).
